Ministry Opportunities in Glasgow and Beyond
November 2007
Having settled into a flat in Glasgow, I found it didn't take long
before I was neck deep in different ministry opportunities in Glasgow.
Living in a cosmopolitian city offers many unique opportunities
to meet and reach people of all different countries, faiths, and
backgrounds. In my latest issue of my
newsletter you will read about my involvement in Calvary Chapel
Glasgow, with Sandyford Memorial Church and their International
Student Cafe Outreach and of course Reality Adventure Ministries.
Moved to Glasgow
August 2007
I have just moved to the west end of Glasgow in an area
called Yorkhill. It's just a 15 minute walk to church and much closer
to Glasgow University and to the community of which I serve. More
details can be read about our Salt and Light group and our GIG group
in my latest newsletter.
Recent Change in Ministry
February 2007
As mentioned and explained in my newsletter, beginning in February
2007, I have transitioned out Calvary Motherwell and I am pursuing
other ministries such as Christian Union and Navigators within the
Glasgow area that reach university students. I have also switched
churches. I am now attending Calvary Glasgow which is located in
the heart of the University of Glasgow area.
I intend to maintain my relationships at Calvary Motherwell and
be available with outreach, or anything specific they need.
Scotland's First Annual Christian Film Festival
August 2006
In my current newsletter,
I write about this pretty big undertaking our church is going to
make in November. I have been helping with all the media materials
for this event and getting the word out. I look forward to what
God is going to do through it.
Fundraising for the Church Roof
July 2006
As we have been busy raising funds to have the church's roof repaired,
we were blessed to have received a quote from a roof repair business
that the entire roof, (slates and all) did not have to be replaced.
The roof is repairable which brought the cost of fixing the roof
down from nearly £100,000 to £20,000. That was truly
a blessing for us as we have been diligently busy with raising funds
to repair the roof.
Now that the funds have come in the West Highland Way Walk brought
in over £3,000 which helped put a dent in the cost of the
repairs to the roof. The walk was a great blessing in more ways
than one. It helped to bond the body closer together and provided
avenues of being good witnesses to other walkers along the 95 mile
journey. To see some pictures of this walk, click

Ladies' Freedom Seminar
February 2006
I just had Debbie Friley and Stacie Pounds from St. Petersburg,
Florida join me for a week. The purpose of their visit was to visit
and encourage me, but also we put on a ladies' seminar taught by
Debbie Friley, a Navigators Ministry worker. There was great turnout
by the ladies of Calvary and by other local churches. Ultimately,
the seminar led to developing new discipleship groups called Salt
and Light groups. For more information about Salt and Light groups

Radio Interview
November 2005
On the 24th of November, Thanksgiving Day at 10PM to 12AM GMT I
will be a guest on Caleb Radio's late night show "REACTION"
with Johnny Simpson and Steve Grieve. Caleb radio is a local radio
station in Motherwell, Scotland. If you would like to join in and
listen to the show you can listen

Fund Raising Efforts for Calvary Motherwell
September 2005
Calvary Motherwell's church building is 101 years old.
Over the past 6-7 years while this fellowship has been in this building,
there have been repairs and improvements made on the property. Our
biggest challenge yet is to have the 101-year old slate roof replaced.
The roof is missing slates and is badly weathered and leaks during
rain showers. We have had estimates as high as £100,000.
In an effort to start paying for this necessary repair, we have
started an initiative of fund raising efforts. Our biggest fundraiser,
The West Highland Way Fundraising Walk will be
next Spring. We are just starting to promote it and raise volunteers
who would be willing to be sponsored and walk all 96 miles of the
West Highland Way, or walk just a portion of Scotland's most famous
trail. The event will last a total of five days. We will be looking
to volunteers from Scotland and the U.S.

Mission Trip from home church, Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg
The team really blessed me, the church and the community with their
visit. Gabe, Josh and Lee put on a great concert and the whole team
evangelized and passed out flyers in our town of Motherwell.
Here's a picture
of us during a day out of relaxing and a little sight seeing.
